Common Veterinary Entry Document (VID) is required for importing animal products. It must be completed for shipments of products of animal origin for import into or transit through the European Community.
VĮD is issued after the veterinary check of products of animal origin at the border veterinary inspection post. VĮD has two parts. Part I has to be completed by the declarant or the person responsible for the shipment and Part II is completed by the official veterinarian of the border inspection post after the veterinary check.
Common Entry Document (BID) is required for importing products of plant origin. It is required for shipments imported from outside the EU as set out in legislation. Their official control is started by the veterinarian of the border inspection post and completed by officials of territorial offices of State Food and Veterinary Service.
BĮD is not required for the export of non-animal food products to third countries only. Part I of BĮD must be submitted to the border veterinary inspection post in advance (by fax, email or otherwise) at least one (1) working day before the arrival of the shipment at the border veterinary inspection post.
Bunasta provides the service of completing the forms (VID, BID) and submitting the documents to veterinary offices by electronic means.
